Minutes

 

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

 

The regular meeting of the Plan Commission of the Village of Williams Bay was called to order by Chairman Weyhrauch at 6:34 p.m. in the Council Room at the Village Hall.

Upon roll call the following were:

 

Present: Plan Commission members - Haak,Watts, Pegel, Resh, Horst, Gage and Weyhrauch  

Absent:

Present: Village Board members – Grove

Absent:

Administrative Staff Present: Building Inspector;  David Henson

Citizens & Guests: see attached list

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

 

Resh made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 12, 2007 meeting as printed and distributed, seconded by Gage and carried unanimously by those present.

John Peterson/Frank Catalano – Zoning Permit

John Peterson, on behalf of Peterson Law Offices asked for approval to conduct business under the present zoning and is not asking for any changes for the business established at 93 W. Geneva St.  Gage moved to approve the request for a zoning permit for John Peterson and Frank Catalano.  Haak seconded the motion.  Jane Pegel abstained.

Motion carried

 

Neal Gill – Conditional Use Permit

Jim Kopecki presented plans for an addition to the front of building to maximize the retail space which adds 2 aisles of retail space. The function of the building remains the same as previously approved. The addition will be 15’ foot addition to the width of the building. Parking was changed from perpendicular to parallel spaces in front of the building for safety purposes. Discussion followed. Gage questioned as to whether the lighting would adhere to Yerke’s requirements. Kopecki responded positively. Neal Gill, the owner said the hours are Sunday through Thursday from 5:00am – 10:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00am – 12:00am. Mark Resh entertained a motion to approve the conditional use permit for the addition for the Williams Bay Mobil Station with plans as submitted.  Horst seconded the motion.

Motion Carried.  

 

 Harley Seuser – certified survey map

 

Resh entertained a motion to approve the CSM and make a recommendation to the Village Board for approval.  A new driveway will need to be constructed for lot 1 prior to the issuance of the Building permit on lot 2.  The engineer suggests that the two driveways on lot 2 be reduced to one at the time of the Building Permit thus conforming to the Village driveway ordinance.   Resh made a motion to approve the certified survey map for Harley Seuser with the addition of the engineer’s recommendation for the construction of the single drive for Lot 1. Gage seconded the motion.  All aye.

Chairman Weyhrauch adjourned the meeting at 7:04 pm
