CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williams Bay was called to order by President Weyhrauch at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at the Village Hall.  Upon roll call the following were:

Present: Weyhrauch, Chroust, Roth, Gage, Parker, and D’Alessandro,

Absent: Grove

Quorum Present

Administrative Staff Present: Village Treasurer Robert Carlson

 Director of Public Works, Gerald Mehring

Citizens and Guests: See attached list

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Roth made a motion to approve the minutes of January 21, 2008 as printed and distributed for the

January 21, 2008 meeting. The motion was seconded by Gage. The motion was carried unanimously by those present.

Motion Carried

 

APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS

Parker made a motion to approve bills in the amount of $46,920.83.

Check #  (50352 – 50392)

Gage seconded the motion and was carried unanimously by those present.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

Ann Becker/Library thanked Jerry Mehring and his employees for the job well done on snow removal for the Book Sale.  The Library’s goal was met.                  

 

PRESIDENT’S REMARKS

1) Weyhrauch mentioned the Voter’s Forum which is being held on Tuesday, February 05, 2008.

The Candidates for County Supervisor, District 7 are Sonja Berg-Schlesner, David Weber and James D’Alessandro.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS

 

BUILDING, ZONING & ORDINANCE – Trustee Grove –

Don Parker shared for Mr. Grove. 10 permits were granted.  Permit Fees totaled $3,490.90 with estimated costs of $312,572.00. Included were 2 zoning permits in the amount of $200.00.

 

WATER & SEWER – Trustee Roth – No Report

 

STREETS & HIGHWAYS – Trustee Chroust – No Report.

 

PARKS & LAKEFRONT – Trustee D’Alessandro – No Report.

 

PROTECTIVE SERVICES –   

1) No Operator license applications have been submitted for approval.

 

FINANCE & PERSONNEL – Trustee Parker – No Report

 

President Weyhrauch adjourned the meeting at 7:18 p.m.
