CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williams Bay was called to order by President Weyhrauch at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at the Village Hall. Upon roll call the following were:
Present: Weyhrauch, Chroust, Roth, Gage, Parker, and D’Alessandro, Grove

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Grove made a motion to approve the minutes of February18, 2008 as printed and distributed for the February 18, 2008 meeting. The motion was seconded by Gage. The motion was carried unanimously by those present.

Parker made a motion to approve bills in the amount of $154,958.66

Gage seconded the motion and was carried unanimously by those present.

PRESIDENT’S REMARKS
a) Lakeland Animal Shelter
Kristen Perry, the Shelter manager from the Lakeland Animal Shelter explained the programs, services and future prospectus for Lakeland Animal Shelter. Perry also described the 5 million dollar/5 year campaign to raise funds for a new building and the inquiry to the County Administrators to donate a 15 acre parcel on Hwy NN for said purpose.Perry commented on the 9 Lives Boutique which is a resale store located in Lake Geneva. All proceeds from the profits are designated to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.
b) Weyhrauch mentioned the meeting for Delavan Township being held on March 4, 2008.
A conceptual plan for a Development at Mann’s Gravel Pit will be reviewed.
c) Mr. Weyhrauch commented on Williams Bay’s recognition for being a Tree Town for the
seventh consecutive year.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
BUILDING, ZONING & ORDINANCE – Trustee Grove
There were 8 Building Permits issued. Permit Fees amounted to $4523.50. The estimated costs of
the projects are $310,000.00. Two zoning permits were issued in the amount of $100.00 each totaling $200.00.
WATER & SEWER – Trustee Roth – No Report
STREETS & HIGHWAYS – Trustee Chroust – No Report
PARKS & LAKEFRONT – Trustee D’Alessandro
PROTECTIVE SERVICES – Trustee Gage
1)The Committee recommended that Chief Pruessing be given the authority to hire Craig Weber for the part-time Police Officer Position. Gage made the motion for final approval. Chroust seconded the motion.
