CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williams Bay was called to order by President Weyhrauch at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at the Village Hall. Upon roll call the following were:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Roth made a motion to approve the minutes of March 17, 2008 as printed and distributed for the March17, 2008 meeting. Trustee Gage seconded the motion. All Aye.
Motion Carried
Parker made a motion to approve bills in the amount of $167,951.29
Check #’s (50606 - 50678)
Gage seconded the motion and was carried unanimously by those present.

East Delavan Cemetery is holding a clean up day on Saturday, April 12, 2008 weather permitting.
An alternate date is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
BUILDING, ZONING & ORDINANCE – Trustee Grove
Building Permit Fees in the amount of $4.840.06 have been taken in with estimated building costs of $423,638.00.
1 ETZ Zoning Permit fee amounted to $140.00 and 4 WBZ Zoning Permit fees totaled $400.00.
An Ordinance amending Section 8.01 of the Village of Williams Bay code of Ordinances concerning License Fees for Intoxicating Liquor, fermented malt beverages and soda water beverages was presented by President Weyhrauch. The date for the fees have been changed and added a Class “C” Wine license for $100.00 per year has been specifically added to the Ordinance. The date has been changed to April 7, 2008.
Trustee Grove moved to adopt the Ordinance, seconded by Trustee Roth. All Aye.

PARKS & LAKEFRONT – Trustee D’Alessandro
Trustee D’Alessandro mentioned in regard to the Bike Path that Lynn Landgraf/Enhancement Committee is meeting with representatives and investigating the requirements to obtain matching funds. Ms. Landgraf will prepare a Comprehensive Report for the next Committee meeting.
Trustee D’Alessandro moved to approve the employment of Bill Trester as the 2008 Harbor Master. Trustee Grove seconded the motion. All Aye.

PROTECTIVE SERVICES – Trustee Gage
Trustee Gage moved to approve Craig Weber as full time employment for the Police Department. Trustee Roth seconded the motion. All Aye.

Trustee Gage mentioned the Special Village Board Meeting to approve Operator Liquor Licenses on Tuesday, April 08, 2008 at 4:55pm.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Anne Becker/Library mentioned that the Library received a Gaming Grant from the State of Wisconsin and the games went well last Saturday.
FINANCE & PERSONNEL –
Trustee Parker moved to convene into a closed session per Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(C) to discuss personnel matters, to reconvene into open session. Mr. D’Alessandro seconded the motion.

Mr. Parker moved to approve a 30 day leave of absence for Marvin Kinney, Public Works Employee, pursuant to Article 16 of the Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement. Trustee Gage seconded the motion. All Aye.

Mr. Parker moved to approve permission for Marvin Kinney, Public Works Employee, to take a CDL driver’s exam in a Williams Bay Village vehicle subject to Doctor’s approval and accompanied by Jerry Mehring, Director of Public Works. Trustee Roth seconded the motion. All Aye.

Mr. Parker moved to approve an increase in Salary for the Director of Public Works, Jerry Mehring, to
$59,190.00 annually. Trustee Grove seconded the motion. All Aye.

President Weyhrauch adjourned the meeting at 7:38 p.m.
