Dog Licensing

Wisconsin State Law and Village Ordinance requires that you obtain a dog license for your pet unless it is less than five (5) months old. The Village will strictly enforce this law. It is your responsibility to obtain this license.

Licenses can be picked up at the Village Clerk's Office during regular business hours. You must bring in your pet's:

  • Current rabies certificate proving vaccination
  • Proof of pet having been spayed/neutered

Cost

  • Unaltered Pet: $30.00
  • Altered Pet: $15.00

Any person purchasing a dog license for a dog 5 months of age or over after March 31st shall pay an additional late fee of $5

Scoop Law

Village Ordinance calls for an owner to have in their possession a scoop, bag or other device designed to pick up and remove animal waste from public or private property (other than property of the owner).
